 An impressive A.V.R.E. contingent traveled to New Orleans in October to attend the National Industries for the Blind's 2011 Annual Conference. Each year, NIB invites agencies and their Employees of the Year to attend the 3 day event. It's a wonderful opportunity for agency employees to meet others from around the country and to visit another agency. Not to mention they get to visit an exciting city! Eric Martin is A.V.R.E.'s Employee of the Year. He and his wife Mary Lou had a great time in New Orleans!
In addition to recognizing each Employee of the Year, NIB recognizes two national awardees. This year, our very own Nina Bectik-Marrero was awarded the Milton J. Samuelson Career Achievement Award.
