Dear Friends,

Excellence, like education, is a journey, not a destination.  Yes, we remain proud of our past, yet even more excited about our future.  Our Center of Excellence is open for business, providing exciting new opportunities for success by helping individuals identify better solutions to enhance their remaining vision or provide alternatives to vision loss.  The newly streamlined manufacturing operation is now fully operational.  Our Norman Richterman Low Vision Center has already served more people than we anticipated.  The ACCESS-Tech Center showcases some of the most modern electronic equipment for accessing and managing information.  We also opened our retail store that sells a wide variety of the most commonly requested visual aids and assistive devices.  These programs -- some new, others improved -- represent the Four Cornerstones that support our Center of Excellence.

None of this would have been possible without support from the community -- and you.  With nearly $2.8 million pledged, we are in the final push to raise the remaining $350,000 needed to successfully complete our $3.1 million capital campaign by December 31, 2008.  We are asking for your support again to help us fully realize our dream.
