The Foundation

In 1999, the Foundation for Vision Rehabilitation and Employment, Inc. (F.V.R.E.) was incorporated as a 501(c)3 corporation. The Foundation is dedicated to increasing the financial, social and awareness resources available to A.V.R.E. to further both current services and operations and to take the necessary steps to secure a bright future for the Association and the communities it serves.

By prudently managing the long-term growth of both the endowment and the investment porfolio, the Foundation offers A.V.R.E. the ability to enhance services and programs, consequently allowing A.V.R.E. to reach the widening population of our service territory that is affected by a severe vision loss or blindness.

The Foundation counts on the generous support of the communities we A.V.R.E. serves to grow the endowment and investment portfolio. We encourage donors, estate planners, financial advisors and others to learn more about A.V.R.E. and to consider assisting people with a vision disability by making a gift to the Foundation.
